Pre-Convention Duluth/North Shore Tour
Duluth rests on the point of Lake Superior and is home to the stunning Aerial Lift Bridge.  Enjoyed by many the Aerial Lift Bridge can be watched for hours as the magnificent ships come into the famous port. While in Duluth you will also have the opportunity to visit the Split Rock Lighthouse as well as the Leif Erickson Park and Rose Garden, home of luscious roses, arrangements and a replica of a wooden Viking ship. Also enjoy a luxurious luncheon cruise on beautiful Lake Superior.

Pre-Convention Fishing Trip (Hunters Point, Lake Mille Lacs)
A fisherman at heart or a first timer all are welcome to come on board and fish on the grand Lake Mille Lacs.  Known as the walleye capital of the world, this is a Minnesota vacation destination that you won’t want to miss! Hunters Point will be the guide for the day and Ritchie waters is the sponsor of the event.

Farm Tour to Central Minnesota
Melarry Farms is owned and operated by Mel and Darlene Hackett along with their son, Spencer Hackett, his wife, Stacy and two sons, Chris and Brook. Deep pedigrees, All-American winners and high index cows sending sons to A.I. - you’ll find these kind as you walk the barn of Melarry Farms, Rice, Minn.  Currently headlining this group is Jim-Jamdl Marmax D-Red-ET (VG-88 @ 3-11), the dam of the 2008 All-American Red & White Summer Yearling, Melarry Advent DJ-Red-ET.
Ralma-You gotta have Faith!  A true difference maker at Ralma and in the Holstein industry, Ralma Juror Faith (EX-91 GMD DOM) is known worldwide for exceptional transmitting ability through high type and production.  Your hosts at Ralma are the Schmitts- Al and Brenda, Mark and Natalie and their kids Jonathon, Michael, Katie and Austin.
Starlight Acres is the family operation of Tracy Schaefer and Karla Smieja, along with their boys, Quentin and Jacob. With a small herd of 46 milking cows, Starlight Acres specializes in type without forgetting the key elements of pedigree and production. “We like to prove that type can milk!” Currently there are 15 cows with multiple E’s and the herd lactation average is about 25,000M.

Mississippi River Tour
The Sapa-Ska herd has achieved much success in the show ring in the past decade having bred seven All-American Nominees, Sapa-Ska Astronomical Sadie caught the attention of many as she was named the Reserve Junior Champion of World Dairy Expo in 2005 and went on to be the All-American Spring Yearling that year.
Pearl of the Lake Paddle- Enjoy a beautiful ride down the Mississippi River aboard the Pearl of the Lake Riverboat! “Pearl of the Lake” is a modern day replica of the grand riverboats that traveled on the Mississippi River in the 1800’s.
National Eagle Center- America’s eagle education destination! The National Eagle Center features five superstars, rescued eagles from across the country. Experience the awe and wonder of these majestic creatures in an intimate environment.

Tour West

Flower-Brook Holsteins is currently milking 70 Registered Holstein cows with a Rolling Herd Average of 26,300 pounds of milk. Home to a barn full of high-scoring and high-producing Holsteins it is also home to Stuewes FB Giddy-ET. Giddy was named the 2008 Star of the Breed by Holstein Association USA. 
Glenmark Genetics and Bonnie Mohr Studio for Lunch-You’ve seen the paintings, heard about the cows and maybe even had the pleasure of visiting with John and Bonnie Mohr at a Holstein event over the years. But now the opportunity to visit the setting that inspires the world-renowned artwork of Bonnie Mohr will be yours!
Floralawn Holsteins- Scott and Jackie Rickeman, along with their kids- Kelly and Nathan, Tracy, Casey and Brian and Neil- began building the Floralawn herd in 1980. They’ve remained true to their goal over the years to breed cows that score VG or EX and make over 100,000 lbs lifetime.  The 60-cow milking herd is housed in a tie-stall barn and currently consists of 13 EX and 42 VG, 10 of which are VG-88, giving the herd a BAA of 109.6.
Raylore Farm- This year marks the 101st anniversary of the farm and over 75 years of breeding registered Holsteins.  With a goal  to work with solid cow families, key herd features include multiple generations of homebred Excellents and special purchases from the well-known Durham Bliss, Elegance and Sweet families.

Enjoy the colorful beauty of a Minnesota summer evening at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. A barbeque meal featuring products and refreshments from Minnesota will be served while you listen or dance Trouble Shooter Band. Participate in the “Amazing Race” and learn about the great produce, plants and flowers that have been developed at the Arboretum; one of the most famous being the Honey Crisp Apple. Stroll through the gardens, visit the children’s learning center, take a guided tram tour ride down the 3-mile drive, visit the gift shop or sit on the veranda while sipping a drink and enjoying the beauty of a Minnesota evening. It will truly be breath taking.

As one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world, Mall of America (MOA) features something for everyone-520 stores- 50 restaurants- and attractions. The program will begin with a meet and greet where a MOA representative will give a warm welcome and brief introduction to the mall. It also includes a MOA shopping bag, coupon book and map/directory making this visit ideal for first time visitors!
